During the VENICE MARATHON, thousands of athletes take part in a run held every fourth Sunday of October over a 42.195 km route among the bridges, alleyways and pontoons constructed over the Canal Grande.
It starts from Strà in the province of Padua and ends in Riva Sette Martiri in Venice.
